Place to dwell

Hi! my post today basically also one of my oldest poem (wrote it last year if I'm not mistaken). It's actually about homesickness (I think..) of a person whom lost his/her motherland. Well, you might be familiar with the term "home is where the heart is" and this is based on that idea.

The persona was going through a long journey leaving his/her homeland (refer to 1st stanza) and when he/she came back, he/she dreams that everything was supposed to be as it is but the home/village were no longer there it was burned in a fire. In the end, the persona kinda hard to accept the truth, so he/she set out on a journey to find his/her home again. It's kinda sentimental because it I was thinking about the element of dis-ownership and abandonment when I wrote this.

 Aaaanyway, this is the poem.

Place to dwell

Let’s go back, back to our home
Let’s sing, sing a piece of a poem
This is a long road and now I’m alone
I looked back, the darkness has grown

‘Hello’ she greet me, the protector of time
Swift she left me as the morning bell’s chime
‘Cuffed to the Reality gazing the opposite side
Bowed to the ground Dream were cast aside

The house is burning, in crimson red it’s burning
I’m mourning; in silence it is depressing
‘I’m shattered!’ shout the broken heart
Therefore please tear this Soul apart

     Yesterday’s were no longer exist
Only fools delusion written in novel’s twist
Keeps forcing ahead it’s too late to stop now
Seek a way to that nonexistent home somehow
